Cleveland Clinic says plantar fasciitis is inflammation in the plantar fascia in your foot and that it is the most common cause of heel pain. It says the condition is caused when you overuse or put too much stress on your feet. This site does not state that a TENS unit treats plantar fasciitis. If you want to try TENS for foot pain, ask your clinician where pads may go, and follow your clinician's and your device's instructions. Read TENS for sciatica, knee and foot pain and see electrode pad and chronic pain.
